When you register with WAYBOX, a personal password is generated, which you must use to access your account services. During the account creation process, or when requesting content, we will need some business information. We use this information to provide our services and to inform you about other related content that may be of interest to you. We may also collect “demographic and usage information” (i.e. information, provided by you or automatically collected by WAYBOX, needed for correct use and billing of the service, as well as to analyse the period and extent of your use of the service).

The user authorises Waybox to collect and use their personal data, such as name, address, postal code, email address and mobile number, to promote future activities, products and services, unless the user has specifically opted out of contact at the time the data was collected.
Personal data collected through this service is confidential and will not be shared with any other entity, except where required by law or where the user has given due consent (e.g. sharing data with Waybox’s partners, as well as with the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA) and AUDIOGEST, at the time of collection). In such cases, we may authorise third parties that provide support services to the website — such as billing, payment processing, marketing, data collection, updates and any other services necessary for the proper performance and maintenance of the service — to access your personal information so that they can provide us with these services.

This information we collect is not linked to your personal account. It is used solely to analyse how the site is used and how we can improve the user experience.

Data is stored on servers in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, with access controlled and restricted by passwords and a two-factor verification system. WAYBOX guarantees users full access to their data, so that it can be rectified or deleted from our database. This process is carried out by sending an email request to: geral@waybox.pt.
In accordance with applicable law, the User has the right, at any time, to access their data, including the right to rectify, erase or restrict data concerning them. To update or access your personal information, please contact our support team by email at geral@waybox.pt. You may make changes to your account’s personal data at any time. WAYBOX is also authorised to disclose your personal information to government agencies, including but not limited to courts and law firms, for legal proceedings and crime prevention.
